About This Jigsaw Puzzle

A majorette in a striking blue military-style jacket with gold trim and a flowing pink skirt spins her white baton high at a lively parade. Colorful silhouettes of a cheering crowd stretch behind her, and strands of pastel bunting flags in multiple colors crisscross overhead. The parade ground setting bursts with festive energy and color.

Coloring Tips

Paint the jacket in a deep royal blue using the fill tool and add a thin brush stroke of gold along the trim and buttons. Use a soft pastel pink for the skirt and multicolor fills on the bunting flags. The spray tool on the crowd silhouettes with varied pastels creates a lively, unified background.

Common Questions

What is baton twirling as a competitive sport?

Competitive baton twirling involves solo and team routines judged on tosses, catches, spins, body movements, and choreography. It has national and international competitions, including the World Baton Twirling Championship.

What are the main types of baton twirling tosses?

Common tosses include the flat toss, vertical toss, and back-release. Advanced competitors perform under-the-leg tosses, behind-the-back catches, and two-baton routines with simultaneous tosses at competition level.

How should I color the parade bunting flags in this puzzle to look festive?

Alternate the individual flag triangles in red, yellow, blue, and green using the brush tool. Keep the color sequence varied and irregular rather than repeating a pattern for a genuinely festive, hand-strung bunting look.
